On Monday (October 14) Cassidy shared a video to her TikTok page of her trip from South America back to the US and explained the reason
why she was leaving ahead of Payne.
In the clip she explained why she was leaving Liam in the country and why she was excited to get back home.
Speaking in the video, she said: “Travel back to Florida with me. I was so ready to leave.
“Honestly, I love South America but I hate staying in one place for too long and we were supposed to be there for like five days and it turned into two weeks and I was just like I need to go home.”
The footage continued to show Cassidy’s journey and closed with the star saying she was happy to be back home and to get into bed.

My heart goes out to you. I’m so sorry for your loss, we lost a part of our childhood, but for you it was so much more than that,” a third

Liam Payne’s family have issued a statement following the death of the singer yesterday (October 16).
Police confirmed that Payne, 31, had died after falling from a third floor balcony at the CasaSur hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He had suffered ‘injuries that were incompatible with life’, according to the head of the state emergency medical system, Alberto Crescenti.
When they arrived after an ‘alarm was raised’ at 5:04pm local time, Payne was found in an ‘internal courtyard’ of the hotel, Crescenti continued.
The family of former One Direction star have said they are ‘heartbroken’ by his death, adding in a statement that ‘Liam will forever live in our
hearts and we’ll remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul’.
“We are supporting each other the best we can as a family and ask for privacy and space at this awful time.” they said.
Heartbroken fans have taken to a multitude of social media platforms to express their condolences.
Payne found national success when he auditioned on the UK singing competition X Factor and found international fame when he and fellow
band mates, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan were joined together by Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger to
form One Direction back in 2010.
The X Factor’s official Twitter account has also posted a sweet tribute message for Payne as his fans mourn his passing.
“We are heartbroken by the sad passing of Liam Payne,” The X Factor’s official account on X, formerly Twitter, wrote alongside a photo of the
star.
“He was immensely talented and, as part of One Direction, Liam will leave a lasting legacy on the music industry and fans around the world.
“Our thoughts are with his friends, family and all who loved him.”
Singer Olly Murs also spoke about the star as he reflected on their relationship.
“We always had a good laugh when we saw each other, sometimes the catch-ups were only short and sweet but when we did it was mostly
about how annoyingly good his hair always looked, or our love for Becks, the old XF (X Factor) days and the tour we shared together.
“Liam shared the same passions as me, the same dreams so to see his life now end so young hits hard, I’m truly gutted and devastated for his
family and of course his son Bear losing a dad.”
Fans are also eagerly waiting for tribute messages or statements from Payne’s former bandmates.
